Day 41 and YAY! INTERNET!

Hey everyone, guess what! I'm at my Aunt's house and I have internet for a while. It's been a really fun trip so far, let me catch you up!

Day 39 and I'm on a plane!

Hey guys, guess what! I’m on a plane! At least while I type this. I have my kindle in my lap charging, I’m constantly trying to clear my sinuses, and I have a cup of orange juice sitting on my thigh because my laptop takes up the entire table. It’s been a great flight so far though. I have seen three toddlers or younger and they have all been extremely cute. My mom is carrying a lot of really weird pills in her purse. So far I have been given a Tylenol and a Sudafed. She is also carrying a Vicoden the size of my ring finger nail, and a diabetes pill that I really shouldn’t take. Another pill she is carrying is a pain pill. The pain pill is suppose to be dissolved in water, it contains a pain killer, codeine, and caffeine. I only know the exact measurements on the caffeine, which is 30 mgs of the stuff. Apparently, it is not a prescription either. Apparently in Ireland it is sold over the counter, and a friend of hers said it works miracles on hangovers. I hate to sound stereotypical, but if there is one place in the world to go for some awesome hangover relief, it would probably be Ireland.
Anyway, the pressure is giving me quite a headache. It’s small, but annoying. I think it’s because my sinuses can’t adjust to the pressure as well because they’re all stuffed up, and thus it is giving me a sinus headache. Oh well I guess. Hopefully my Tylenol and Sudafed will kick in soon and I’ll be able to breathe and not be able to feel my own head. I hear that when you take decongestants like Sudafed, instead of stuffing up your nose it makes your nose run until you literally have no more snot in your nose. Sounds pretty fun to me. Mom got me plenty of tissues out of the bathroom though, so I should be fine when I’m hit by the geyser of snot.
Besides that everything has gone well today. The only thing I’ve forgotten so far were headphones, but Zak has allowed me to borrow a pair of his. The plan also has internet, which is cool, but it’s 12.95 for the whole flight, and my battery will only last for about two hours. That gives me about 6.50 an hour. It’s just not worth it, I would rather wait to post this.
Tom was really upset about me being gone, and honestly I am too. I am really excited for the trip, and for seeing my cousins turn 1, but at the same time I’m going to be away from the people and animals that I love. I’m going to be in a bed that does not have Tom in it, and I won’t be able to cuddle with my cat, or throw a toy around the room and watch her run after it. It is only for four days though, and I’ll see all of them as soon as I physically can. Maybe I’ll snuggle with a baby instead to ease the pain. Baby snuggles are good at that after all.
I can’t think of anything else to say right now. I’m sure I’ll think of something on this flight. TTFN tata for now

Day 40 and BABIES!!

Day 40 and BABIES!!

Today my twin cousins turned one, and they are sooo cute. For those who don’t know, their names are Kimberly and Erin and they are sooooo adorable. When we got there, Erin was acting fussy, and so Rina(their mom, and my aunt) took Erin and left me alone to play with Kimberly. She was so sweet and cute, but she kept pulling off her hat! She is really smart too. She realized after a while that every time she took off her hat and let go of it, I would take it and put it back on her. So, the last time she took it off around me, she took it off and then just held it. She wouldn’t let it go, or give it to me, or let me take it. So, I had to find another way of distracting her. I took her burp cloth (just a white cotton cloth) and I put it over her face and covered her eyes. In her surprise she let go of the hat. That’s when I took it, and when she took off the burp cloth I put her hat back on.
I also played with a lot of kids, and while writing this I am completely exhausted. We got to the hotel at 2:10 AM and managed to get into bed at about 2:22. It was insane, but it was also a lot of fun.
We got to play outside a lot. At one point, Kim was playing, and then she picked up a plastic water bottle that she was playing with, crawled over to me, and attempted to crawl into my lap. I laughed a bit and then pulled her up into my lap, where she happily played with her water bottle and kept laying her head against my chest. I just thought it was so sweet. It makes me really sad to think that the memory process does not really start until children are about three or four, so as much as they love me now, the next time we come out to see them, they’re probably not going to remember me.
The girls got lots of presents, and surprised all of us when they only got one repeat item (they got doubles of a lot of things, ‘cause they’re twins, but this is like two people getting the exact same item) so now they have three My Pal Violets. They got tons of cute clothes, and it was all adorable. When it got dark, the porch lights came on, and the party continued. It even continued when lightning flashed across the sky. When it started raining, the party was moved inside. Well, I had forgotten how much it can rain in New York, and on the walk back to the car (about 20 maybe 30 feet) I got completely soaked. I might as well have said I had taken a shower. It was pretty intense.
But yes, today was a good day, and I have a realization that the reason I like having so many kids in my life is because it fulfills the need for me to have my own children.
I really wish this hotel had internet!

Nephenthes ( I personally have trouble pronouncing this one)

And what about today? Well, today we're just hanging out with the cousins. Kimberly is playing with a ball while little Erin climbs on her new doll house. People are eating, but I'm not hungry yet. Erin just did a really cute, of smiling, laughing, bouncing and spinning all at the same time, it was really cute. And now she's upset cause people aren't paying attention to her.
