Day...ah...who cares...

It has been over a month since my last post. I know. It has taken me this long to be able to talk about it. Honestly, I was a bit embarrassed that I failed my mission. I made it over a hundred days though, and I think that's honorable. Besides, it was a bit insane for me to try to post every day for two years. I'm glad I'm finally post this though. I really wanted to come back to blogging, but I really didn't want to admit defeat. I didn't want to admit that I just couldn't do it...but I couldn't. I shouldn't have held myself to such a high standard.

So, I will be transforming this blog. A complete make-over, and perhaps a renaming (the address will stay the same, just the name change, if I can).

So, here is the edit. I really like it. You may be wondering "...DragonFruit?"

Yeah, it's something I'm trying out. A close friend of mine (and reader of this blog) has a...I guess you could call it a pseudonym in the pagan community. Most do...and while I believe I have found my goddess, Nike goddess of Victory, but I have not found my...my name. Dragon Fruit is one of my favorite fruits. For those who don't know, this is a dragon fruit:

It's just such a colorful and exotic fruit. It looks like something you just want to eat for hours. You sit down with it, and enjoy it. Sadly, I've never actually tasted one, but I plan to rectify that as soon as possible.

So, about Nike. Yes, it is pronounced the same was as the shoe company, in fact, that is why the shoe company is named Nike. She is known as the winged goddess of victory, and is the daughter of Pallas and Styx, and is the sister of Kratos, Bia, and Zelus. Most of you actually know her. Here is a statue of her

Yeah, that's Nike. Pretty cool huh? I think she fits me pretty well. I don't know about DragonFruit or Nike 100% yet. I hope I will know soon.

  1. Dragonfruit is pretty, I like it! (both the actual fruit and as a name for your blog).

I don't blame you for not being able to post every day. It's really tough to do something that requires an extra effort every single day for an extended period of time.
