I am flattered, for sho' but I'm not sure I quite agree... What do you guys think?

His grandmother found him eventually, and she sat with him, holding him close, and then began to tell him how things like this happen, and the best thing you can do is laugh along, or to act confident. Haha, but that is not all today, a bunch of my Wajas turns 12 today, and that means that you can finally see their beautiful patterns. They did not all come out pretty, but I have decided to show you what my favorite one is (even though that should technically be what my Makotas blog is for, oh well)

This is Jackson, he was one of three boys. He's an Aerial with a wind pattern and a mane. I wish he got wings like his brothers, Joshqua and Michaelis, but genetics are a finicky thing, and you don't always get what you want.

Day 24 it's going to be a long day

Hey everyone, today is my long day, so I'm posting this morning instead of tonight.

I thought I would share part of an essay with you today, why don't you tell me what you think?

Factitious disorders are really fascinating, if not a little scary, and are very fascinating to read. The main thing about factitious disorders is that the people who have these disorders make up symptoms for themselves or others. Often this is to get medical attention. There are two main types of factitious disorders. These are Munchausen syndrome, and Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Munchausen syndrome is a disorder where a person will harm themselves to create symptoms of sicknesses. Munchausen syndrome by proxy is when a person will harm others to create symptoms. Usually, the people they harm are their own children. These people will often go to the extremes and can be seen “giving the child drugs, tampering with medications, contaminating a feeding tube, or even smothering the child” (195 Comer). The results of which usually have intense results. Some of the most common things to happen are “bleeding, seizures, asthma, comas, diarrhea, vomiting, ‘accidental’ poisonings, infections, fevers, and sudden infant death syndrome” (195 Comer). People with Munchausen syndrome may “Many give themselves medications secretly. Some … inject drugs to cause bleeding” (194 Comer). The main reason that they would do this would be to cause fevers or bleeding so that they look sick. Often these people will defend that they are actually sick even when faced with the truth.

Day 23 and I have pictures!

Hey guys! I promised I would have pictures today, and guess what! I do!

First of all, the swallows are here! And though it seems a bit early, I counted 76 different egg shell fragments, equaling approx. 38 eggs! I did find four bodies of little ones who did not make it, but that is four out of 38, and there was no sign of any other bodies. So, I have a guess that some of them may have hatched.

If you're wondering what a swallow egg looks like, here you go!

I also found this really short car. I mean, I am taller than my current car, by about five inches, but this car was like a foot or more shorter than me!

Here is the car by itself, it's Honda CRX apparently

And this is it compared to my car

I know not everyone is interested in finding things that are smaller than usual. It was just so shocking that I had to share! Short car!

Day 20, and I'm pretty sure this homework is going to kill me

My brain feels completely dead. I stare at a screen with words, and can make no comprehension of it. I am pretty sure I am hallucinating right now, and you are currently reading gibberish that comes from fingers tired of typing, where I see words that mean nothing.

I have read essays, and felt the depression of the world upon my shoulders, and I have written about how the world was doomed. I have written about how humans will figure out how to save the world, only seconds to late.

I have written about lonely walks through the woods, picking up what selfish people leave behind. I have written about a war against humanity with no visible end.

I have read about a reason to look at the world with hope in our eyes. I have written how it is all in vain.

Of course, I have written about hope. I have written about cures and wisdom to the world. I have written about the idyllic world, and how boring it would be to live in. I have written about the need for conflict, even if seen as detrimental to the whole.

I have read about a chimpanzee who can speak to people, and show the world her wisdom. I have written about cruelty, and how sick of it I am.

The only thing I haven't written, is what is in the kitchen sink.

Day 19, Gotta love an old western

Tom got a new game today, called Red Dead Redemption.

If you haven't heard of it, it's a really interesting old western-style open-world rpg game. It has an interesting story, and some really epic lighting affects.

According to Tom, it has some technical control problems, but it makes some great background noise for homework.

Speaking of homework, I am on page 50 as I write this of the 60 page journal due on Tuesday. Here is an excerpt from what I wrote today:

Of course, reducing the health care for young infants and prenatal care is not our only option. There is also the option of restricting the births all throughout the world. My option is that every couple should be allowed to have one child. If they want another child, they can have it, but they need to adopt in order for this to be allowed. This will cause the population to decline slowly (because, for every two people there will only be one child), or maybe even quickly, and once it gets to a stable population, then and only then can people begin to give birth to two children.

Now, I understand that there have been questions about this plan, ones that I have asked myself. For instance, what if the couple has two kids, and then they get divorced, would the new couples that form be able to have two more kids? The answer to this is no. Each of the two people had a kid for each of them, therefore if they got remarried, they would have to have only one kid, assuming that their new partners have not already had their kids. Another question on a similar thread is if they only had one child, and then got divorced, what then? That is a good question, and I think at the time of the divorce when the judge decides who the primary caretaker is to be, that should also be the person that has already used their population spot. Now, another concern that was brought up was that mistakes happen, and sometimes there will be more than two children born to a couple, what then? Well, my idea is that the child will be put up for adoption, and a couple who is willing to take the child in instead of having their own. There can also be a process where if you meet someone who really does not want to have kids can give up their right to have kids, and then give their rights to a couple who wants to have more kids.

The biggest issue with this though? There is no way that the entire world can just be convinced that this is a good idea. Especially in free countries, this lack of choice would taste sour in their mouths, because they believe that there should be a choice in how many children a couple should have, even if it means that the population will have a dangerous increase.

See, I knew if I kept this blog going long enough, something really interesting would happen to me.

I'm making jewelery.

It is actually more fun then I though dealing with pliers and small metal circles would be.

I guess that's just the craftsman in me. I'm really excited about this because it's going to be a gift, and I'm really hoping they like it. In fact, since this isn't all that hard or time consuming, I'm sure I can bug the crap out of all my friends by giving them jewelery for each holiday!

So, as well as tell you every day how many more days there are, I am also going to be posting a cute little Unicreature underneath it. Did you know I have trouble spelling underneath? Day 15, another date

I am watching the weirdest episode of Star Trek ever. I am not kidding you. First of all, there is a woman where tight leather, spandex-tight pants, and a bright orange faux-fur vest. Yeah, I know. She also casts "spells" on men to make them fall in love with her. Then there's a scene involving Spock and having a short S&M scene with one of the nurses, telling her to hit him again and again so that he could wake up.

What's even better? Every single scene with spandex girl shows her acting like she's just going to fall over from an orgasm. She has some serious whimsical skills though, prancing around with her clevage. I think the actress is a belly dancer because she moves like one. She also screams like a wimp.

Oh, now the enemy villagers are attempting to rape her... I'm not feeling all that bad for her...

Day 13...is today unlucky?

I don't think so, because 13 is my lucky number, but I thought I should ask anyway.

So, today I am watching the Food Channel while I get some homework done(which is not fun). Right now Guy Fierri is making this really delicious chicken. I wish I could eat it right now. It's brought to me by Lawry's...which has a rather annoying song in the commercial where the singers just sing "What's your flavor" over and over again while women compare the marinades to personalities.

I'm now getting really hungry, and I feel like I should get something to eat...

Day 12 is another day

Well, the only interesting thing is I've gotten back into Wajas(www.wajas.com) It's a rather complicated pet game, that there are pages upon pages of websites dedicated to explaining the game. Basically, a Waja is a wolf-like creature, who has it's own set of DNA, like fur color and eye color. There are three stats, one that controls mutations, one that controls markings, and one that controls litter quantity(a maximum of four pups). They can also have mutations(such as wings, fangs, extra fur) and they can have markings (stripes, spots, etc). When two Wajas mate, they pass their genes down to their pups.

There is more to it then this, but this is basically the easiest way of putting it. Right now I have one account for making lots of money and taking care of the first set of Waja, and the other account is for trying to make a pretty waja that has a 100 in all stats except for inbreeding. It is a difficult task, but I am a patient person.

If you want to see my wajas, go to Makotas.blogspot.com. These are just the Wajas from the second account.

Day 10! I can't believe it! Double digits!

Last night was Deaf night, and it was a lot of fun.

Today was a bit interesting. We watched a video in English that did not involve the death of animals (so...weird...) then in ASL, we were learning new words, about to go on break...when the power went out...

About half an hour later, campus was closed.

So, I got to go home instead of going to Abnormal Psych

Then I went home, and I got ALL the classes I wanted! YAY!!!

So, my current schedule for my next semester:

M: Beginning Design: 11:15 am-2:20 PM

T: Microeconomics: 9:30 AM- 10:50 PM, Precalculus: 11:10 AM-1:15 PM, ASL 2: 4:00 PM-6:05 PM

W: Beginning Design: 11:15 AM-2:20 PM

TH: Microeconomics 9:30 AM-10:50 PM, Precalculus: 11:10 AM-1:15 PM, ASL 2: 4:00 PM-6:05 PM

And then the rest of the week is dedicated to homework

Plus, I have a lab worth 1 credit

Please don't stop reading. I would feel oh so alone.

Well, what's on the roster for today? Well, there's a quiz in Math, and we're learning about logarithms (which, by the way, is a very funny word to spell). Then tonight is another deaf night! Dee's not sure how long she can stay tonight... so neither am I I guess? (and this one is pronounced NEE-ther not NEYE-ther)

Then Day 8 happened

I had. The Weirdest. Dream.

So, I dreamed I was at my first day of the fall semester of Cabrillo (except Cabrillo looked more like a very small university, with multiple pillars and arches). As I was walking to my class with Dee, the way to class was blocked by Tom and his band playing music and everyone was crowding around. I didn't think much of the fact that Tom had gotten a band over night and decided to preform without telling me. So, I walked to class a different way, but that way was blocked too so she and I decided to crash Biology 1B.

As soon as I walk in and sit down, the teacher (Miss Japan, aka Japappy) started going off about magnets and their affects on the human body, before she stormed up to my desk and said "Alexis1 Is Alexis here?"

I paused and looked up at her before raising my hand.

She looked down and smiled and said "Oh, sorry, I did not recognize you in blue. Say you have left over turkey. What do you do with the remains?"

"um..." I took about pause "Well, I would probably try to compost it, but I hear you're not suppose to compost meat...am I?"

And then she just stared at me

In dream time, she stared at me for six minutes

It was creepy

"Am I?"

She then turned and went to another question without answering me.

I shrugged it off, ignored it, then decided I had to rework my schedule so I could fit that class into my schedule

Weird dream, huh?

Happy Mother's day on Day 6

There is not a whole ton to talk about, I mean, besides it's mother's day(shout out to all moms) and we went out to brunch, then saw Iron Man 2.

The brunch was delicious, and am currently having stomach upsets because I stuffed myself silly. Iron Man 2 was...eh...It was good, and had shiny effects (had 16 effects studios working on that) but I felt that the story was predictable, and the end would be confusing to anyone who doesn't read Marvel...

But, besides that it was great

That is about all that happened today....though we did get a medium root beer, and I am so psyched.

YAY! Day 3

I had the weirdest dream last night. It was so realistic that I thought it was real. First, I found underwear, and I was so ecstatic I decided to go hang out with my friends. Well, I was hanging out and it turned out it was Arden's birthday and she got this really epic camera worth over a few thousand dollars. I wanted to know where she got it or if I could have her old camera, but she kept blowing me off... then I woke up.

Yesterday was so much fun. I went to Deaf Night at a pizza place with Dee, and there were a lot of people there. I was really Nervous at first... this was the the first signed conversation I had

C: HI. NAME YOU?
A: HI. MY NAME A-L-E-X-I-S
C: (Signs something that I know, but can't understand)
A: PLEASE AGAIN
C: (signs again)
A: PLEASE AGAIN
C: (signs again)
A: SORRY I. WORRIED
C: (in English, while signing) Hey it's ok(O-K). Don't (NOT) worry (WORRY). Let's go slow
A: O-K
C: BROTHER HAVE YOU?
A: Ah!! YES BROTHER HAVE I
C: HOW MANY?
A: 1. Z-A-K
C: NOT C?
A: NO. HE NOT LIKE C. (shrug)

And then we had a very nice conversation where we talked about family and classes.

I also met D-O-N-N-Y. He was really nice, and said that Dee and I were really good signers for ASL 1 because we signed fluently and clearly. He also signed his stories really quickly to me, but made sure every now and then that I was following him. Sometimes I would say "I UNDERSTAND" and sometimes I would stare blankly and say "NO UNDERSTAND". Then he would take me through what he was saying slower so I could understand, making sure that I understood every sign so that I could follow. He also taught me quite a few signs. It was such a fun night, I cannot wait until next week.

I recently bought myself a two year subscription of Norton Anti-Virus. Not to big of a deal, lots of people do it. The thing was, I have been meaning to challenge myself with something for a while...so here it goes.

Two years is 732 days, and therefor, every day I am going to post something in this blog. It might be a story, a poem, my day, or even my favorite cookie. I don't know what it is going to be yet, and it might be completely random.

That is how I am challenging myself, so...here it goes!
